Kolkata, March 28, 2025 – Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) has announced the reopening of its online admission portal for self-financed B.Ed. colleges, including B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. programs, for the 2024-2026 academic session.

This decision comes after a case was filed before the Honourable High Court regarding the extension of admission for this session. Following the court proceedings and in compliance with the Government of West Bengal’s Higher Education Department Order (No.- 396 –Edn(U)/HED-12014(49)/1/2025-UNV SEC, dated March 26, 2025), the university has taken this step to fill the remaining vacant seats.

📌 Online Applications Open: April 2, 2025 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM
📌 Last Date to Apply: April 5, 2025 (Saturday) at 10:59 PM
📌 Last Date for Fee Payment: April 5, 2025 (Saturday) at 10:59 PM
📌 Publication of Merit List: April 9, 2025 (Wednesday)
📌 Admission in Colleges: April 11-12, 2025 (Friday & Saturday)
📌 Submission of Admitted Student Data: April 12, 2025 (Saturday)

Key Points to Remember:

✅ Students who applied earlier but did not take admission must reapply and pay the fee again.
✅ Colleges must ensure new entrants meet the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) attendance requirements.
✅ Classes may be rescheduled or adjusted to accommodate newly admitted students.
